Abstract

The article considers the software methods of organizing traffic flows within the concept of IoV. The essence of the concept of "Internet of Things" and "Internet of Vehicles" is revealed. The principles of interaction and sequence are formed. It is emphasized that the Internet of vehicles consists of vehicles that interact with each other, as well as portable devices that are transported by pedestrians, roadside blocks and public networks that use the principle of connecting the vehicle to the vehicle, from vehicle to road, the relationship vehicle - man and vehicle - sensor, thus creating a social network where participants are rational objects, not people. The typical architecture of the Internet of vehicles, consisting of three levels: perception, network and application, is given. But the principles of implementation and interaction of these levels are described in detail both within the system as a whole and separately at each stage. The abstract architecture of the Internet of vehicles is offered and the principles of work and interaction of the main blocks of system are defined. It is emphasized that the on-board unit is a vehicle on the road, and the road unit is a road infrastructure that is interconnected via the Internet. It is emphasized that the main condition of the system is that each individual vehicle belongs to the household and the presence of a base unit to which all vehicles and other devices are connected via the Internet of Things. Mechanisms for ensuring the confidentiality of the Internet of vehicles as a separate system are proposed. It is emphasized that confidentiality is maintained by dividing the types of content into: private, secure and public. Private information is only available to the vehicle owner. The list of software methods that apply to the implementation of IoV is formed and the main problems facing IoV are described.
